Google Ads Copy

A full RSA asset set, written to Google's real limits.

Answer nine questions about what you sell, the page the ad lands on, and who it is for. The engine writes fifteen headlines at 30 characters or less across five types, four descriptions at 90 or less, display paths and callouts, from your facts and your market. Nothing is invented: no price, proof line or review count appears unless you gave it.

Opens in your workspace. Signed out gets one engine run a day, counted on our server, and Pro is unlimited. Editing lines against the live counters is free with no limit.

Definition

What Is a Google Ads Copy Generator?

A Google Ads copy generator writes the assets a responsive search ad is assembled from. Google builds the ad at auction time, showing up to three of your headlines in any order next to two of your descriptions, so the job is not to write one ad, it is to write parts that read alone and combine well. This generator asks nine questions about the product, the audience and the market, then writes the full set to the RSA framework: fifteen headlines at 30 characters or less, four descriptions at 90 or less, two display paths at 15, and callouts at 25.

The difference from a blank text box with a word count is what it refuses to do. Four answers are required because the copy cannot be written without them: what you sell, the landing page, the keyword theme, and the difference in your own words. Everything else can be skipped, and a skipped answer means the line is not written rather than made up. Price carries an explicit option that says we do not publish prices, because a made up price is a fabricated number.

The ad is the cheap half of the click. Before you spend on it, run the free website audit on the landing page these assets point at, and put the numbers through the ROAS calculator to see what the campaign has to return.

The Asset Structure

Four Asset Types, Google's Published Limits

These are Google's own limits, treated as hard. A headline of 31 characters is a rejected asset, not a slightly long one, so the count is the first thing the tool gets right.

AssetSlotsLimitWhat it is for
Headlines15 slots30 charactersGoogle shows up to three at a time, in any order, so every headline must read on its own. The set covers five types: keyword, benefit, social proof, pain point and call to action.
Descriptions4 slots90 charactersTwo show at a time. Written in the order the framework calls for: problem, solution, benefit, then the specific action.
Display paths2 slots15 charactersThe two slugs after your domain in the green line. Display only, they do not change the page the click lands on.
Callouts6 slots25 charactersShort proof lines under the ad. They are not clickable, so no call to action is written into one, and no proof line is written unless you gave a real one.
Angles

The Five Headline Types

Fifteen rewordings of the same sentence is not fifteen headlines. Google needs distinct angles to test at auction, so the set is written across five types.

TypeWhat it does
KeywordCarries the search term, which is what ad relevance in Quality Score is measuring.
BenefitThe result they get, in their language, not the feature that produces it.
Social proofOnly if you gave a real number, licence or credential. No proof given means no proof headline written.
Pain pointThe problem stated back to them, which is why a question headline works on cold traffic.
Call to actionThe specific action, because a named next step is a smaller decision than a general one.
Method

Written From Your Facts, Not a Template

  1. 01Nine questions, four requiredWhat you sell, the landing page the ad sends to, the one keyword theme, and what makes you different in your own words are required, because the copy cannot be written without them. Price, proof and offer can be skipped, and a skipped answer means the line is not written rather than invented. The market picker covers US, UK, GCC, Worldwide and Other, with Worldwide as the default.
  2. 02The assets are written to the frameworkFifteen headlines covering five types, four descriptions in the order problem, solution, benefit, then the specific action, plus display paths and callouts. The engine runs on our server and writes from your answers, so the copy sounds like the business rather than like a template.
  3. 03The limits are enforced, then shownAnything over Google's character cap is cut at a word boundary or dropped, and the note says which and why. Every line stays editable with a live count, so you fix a long headline here rather than in the Google editor, then copy the set or save it to your workspace.
Access

One Engine Run a Day Free. Pro Is Unlimited.

Signed out, you get one engine run a day. The count is kept on our server by address, not in your browser, so it is the same on any device and clearing cookies does not reset it. A free account keeps the same one run a day and keeps what you save in your workspace, so a set written today is still there next week.

Pro removes the daily limit, so the engine writes as often as you need it. Plans are on the pricing page.

Editing what came back, the live character counts, and copying assets cost nothing and have no limit on any tier. A run is spent only when the engine writes, never when you refine.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Google Ads copy generator write?

A full responsive search ad asset set. Fifteen headlines at 30 characters or less, covering five types: keyword, benefit, social proof, pain point and call to action. Four descriptions at 90 characters or less, written in the order problem, solution, benefit, then the specific action. Two display paths at 15 characters and six callouts at 25. Every line comes back editable with a live character count, and the set can be copied line by line or saved to your workspace.

Do I need an account to use it?

No account is needed to start. Signed out you get one engine run a day, counted on our server by address, so the limit is the same on any device and clearing the browser does not reset it. A free account keeps the same one run a day and keeps what you save in your workspace. Pro removes the daily limit. Editing lines against the live counters is free and has no limit, so a run is spent only when the engine writes.

Does it invent prices, review counts or awards?

No. Only the figures you type in are used. Leave price empty and no price appears, and there is an explicit option that says we do not publish prices. Leave proof empty and no proof headline is written rather than a plausible one being made up. A skipped answer means the line is not written, never that it is invented.

How does it handle Google's character limits?

As hard limits, because that is what they are. A headline of 31 characters is a rejected asset, not a slightly long one. Anything the engine writes over the cap is cut at a word boundary or dropped, and the note tells you which and why. Every line stays editable with a live count on the page, so you fix a long line here rather than in the Google editor.

Which markets does it write for?

US, UK, GCC, Worldwide and Other, with Worldwide as the default. The market sets the currency, the spelling and the compliance rules the copy is written to.

What about health, wellness, supplements or finance?

Tick the restricted category box and the copy is written to sell the benefit, never the cure: supports, designed to help, promotes. Never cures, treats, guaranteed results or clinically proven. An asset carrying one of those phrases is dropped rather than quietly softened, and the note names the phrase. Google reviews the ad and the landing page together, so one violation on the page can disapprove the ad.

Where do my assets go?

On screen first, where every line is editable with a live count. Save the set and it is kept in your workspace with the landing page, keyword theme and market it was written for, and every line keeps its character count next to it, so what you paste into Google Ads later is the version you already checked.
