The Short Answer

What is conversion rate optimization?

Conversion rate optimization, or CRO, means getting more sales from the visitors you already have. On published industry benchmarks, a good conversion rate for most online stores is 2 to 3 percent. If yours sits below that, the page is usually the problem, not the traffic. We watch how real people use your site, find the point where they stop, and fix it. Then we test the fix. You keep more of the traffic you already pay for.

What Changes for You

More sales from the same traffic

The ad budget does not move. The share of visitors who buy does, because the page stops losing them.

You know which change did it

Every fix runs against a control version, so the result is traceable to one change, not to a good week.

A written record of what works here

Winners and losers are logged with the numbers behind both, so the same argument does not come back next quarter.

What You Get

Watching How People Use Your Site

We install heatmaps, a picture of where people click and how far they scroll, plus recordings of real visits, so the drop-off point is seen and not assumed.

Testing Changes Before You Commit

We test the change on part of your traffic first, so you never roll out a guess.

Rebuilding the Pages That Lose People

We rewrite and rebuild the pages that take the most traffic and return the least, starting with the one costing you most.

Fixing the Steps Where Carts Are Lost

We follow the funnel, the path from first click to payment, and cut the steps that cause cart abandonment, people who add to cart and then leave without paying.

Showing Each Visitor What Fits Them

Returning buyers and first-time visitors see different offers, because they need different things.

How We Work, Research Before Testing

  1. 01

    Paid diagnostic

Research before testing means we do not guess at the fix. We read your analytics, watch real sessions, and write the ranked list of what to change and in what order. The document is yours whether or not we carry on.

  2. 02

    Scoped engagement

We build and run the agreed changes against a written scope, with one senior lead on the account. Fixed scope, fixed fee, agreed before it starts.

  3. 03

    Retainer or handover

You keep us on monthly for the next round of tests, or we hand your team the test log, the winning versions, and the method.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does conversion work cost?

Every engagement starts with a paid diagnostic, so the first invoice buys you a document, not a promise. We read your analytics, name the leak, and rank the fixes. The build is then quoted against that scope. Fixed scope, fixed fee, agreed before it starts. We do not sell a monthly package before we know what is wrong.

How long before we see a change in sales?

The diagnostic takes two to three weeks. The first fixes usually go live in the month after that. A test then needs enough visitors before the result means anything, which is normally two to four weeks on a site with steady traffic. So expect one month for findings, and one more for a result you can trust.

Do we have enough traffic for this to work?

You need traffic before you need testing. Below roughly 1,000 visitors a month a test will never reach a reliable result, and the money is better spent on demand. Between 1,000 and 10,000 we fix the obvious leaks and skip the testing. Above that, full testing pays for itself.

What do you need from us to start?

Analytics access, access to the site or a staging copy of it, and one person on your side who can approve a change. We install the recording and heatmap tools ourselves. If you sell online we also want twelve months of order data, because the checkout usually holds the biggest loss.

What happens if a test loses?

Most tests lose, and that is the point of running them. A losing test costs a few weeks of traffic on one page and buys certainty that the change would have cost you money at full rollout. We report losers in the same document as winners, with the numbers behind both.

What is a good conversion rate for my industry?

On published industry benchmarks, average e-commerce conversion sits at 2 to 3 percent and business to business lead generation sites at 2 to 5 percent. These are third party ranges, not Elshorafa Co. client results. Top performers reach 5 to 10 percent or more. Conversion rate is the share of visitors who buy or enquire. We benchmark against your own baseline first, then against your industry.

How do you prioritize which elements to test?

We score every possible fix on three things: how much it could earn, how many people it touches, and how hard it is to build. We do the top of that list first. That order is the method, because the cheapest test on the busiest page returns an answer before the budget runs out.

Can this help my sales on mobile phones?

Yes, and mobile is usually where the largest gain sits, because mobile conversion rates normally trail desktop on the same site. We test on real phones, not a resized desktop window, and we read load speed, thumb reach, form length and payment options separately from the desktop version.

What is an A/B test?

An A/B test means we show two versions of a page to two halves of your traffic and keep the winner. Nothing is rolled out to everyone until the numbers are in. Sample size, how many visitors a test needs before the result means anything, decides how long we leave it running.

Do you work on Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes, on Shopify, WooCommerce, custom builds, and on lead generation sites with no cart at all. The platform changes how a fix ships, not what we look for. Where your own developers ship the code, we hand over the change and the reason for it, and we measure the result the same way.
